The Fronius Shade Cover is a powder-coated aluminum hood that shields a Fronius SnapINverter from direct sun and weather when it is mounted on a flat or low-slope commercial roof. Keeping the inverter out of direct sunlight lowers its operating temperature, which helps it avoid heat-related power derating and supports long service life. Fronius requires the Shade Cover for Symo Advanced inverters installed at less than 15° tilt from horizontal. It mounts in the same way as the SnapINverter mounting bracket, so it adds little time on the roof. This version (7035FS) fits the Symo and Symo Advanced 10–24 kW housing.
