The EG4 Hybrid Solar Window Unit (model DAWA1-ACDC1-12KR2) is a 12,000 BTU window air conditioner with a built-in solar charge controller (MPPT). It runs directly from solar panels, from a standard 120V outlet, or from both, using solar first and topping up from the grid only when needed. It cools spaces up to about 600 sq. ft., keeps working during grid outages when the sun is out, and installs in a double-hung window in minutes with everyday tools.
