The EG4 GridBOSS MID (microgrid interconnect device), v3.1, is a single, intelligent hub for complex solar and backup installs. It brings utility power, up to three hybrid inverters, a generator, smart loads, and essential and non-essential circuits together in one 200A service-entrance-rated enclosure. It replaces the separate transfer switches, combiner panels and breakers a typical system needs, which can save up to about $7,500 in equipment and labor on a typical installation.
